By default, a new workbook
contains 3 sheets in it. Later you can add any number of sheets as you like or
delete any of the sheet. But If you want to change this default number of
sheets from 3 to any other number, follow the below sequence.
Excel 2010 or later
File tab > Options
> General tab > type / select number
of sheets you want under Include these
many sheets
Excel 2007
Microsoft office button > Excel
options > Popular tab > type / select number of sheets you want under Include these many sheets
Excel 2003
Tools menu > Options >
General tab > type / select number of sheets you want under Sheets in new workbook
